Do you provide transportation?
No, transportation isn’t included. With our private on-site experiences, we bring the stars directly to your chosen location—no travel required!
Why don’t you offer tours in Joshua Tree National Park anymore?
We’ve shifted our focus to creating intimate, personalized stargazing experiences without the crowds. By bringing the stars to you, we ensure a more exclusive and tailored event for your group.
Do I need to make reservations in advance?
Yes, advanced reservations are required, and we recommend booking early as availability fills quickly.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Private experiences must be canceled at least fourteen days in advance for a full refund. If canceled within fourteen days, the booking is nonrefundable. If we need to cancel due to weather and no alternate date is available, you’ll receive a full refund.
What should I wear?
Dress for comfort and the season:
Summer: Lightweight pants, a t-shirt, and a jacket for cooler evenings.
Winter: Layers, including a sweater and a jacket, as temperatures can drop into the 30s or 40s.
Should we tip our guide, and if so, how much?
If your Sky Guide did an excellent job, gratuity is appreciated! The usual tip is 10% of the experience price, but it’s entirely up to you.
What’s the recommended age to participate?
While there’s no strict age restriction, we recommend the experience for guests aged 6 and older. At this age, children can better focus on objects viewed through the telescope.
Can I customize an experience for a special event?
Absolutely! We specialize in custom stargazing events for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate gatherings, and more. Contact our special events team to start planning.
What amenities do you provide?
Our setup includes high-quality stargazing equipment, including telescopes, binoculars, and souvenir digital photos of deep-sky objects.
Are your experiences wheelchair accessible?
Accessibility depends on the location you choose. While we aim to accommodate everyone, we recommend selecting a site with suitable access based on your group’s needs.
What happens if bad weather cancels my experience?
With over 300 clear nights a year, cancellations are rare. If weather intervenes, we’ll reschedule or issue a full refund.
How many people can attend?
Our standard setup accommodates up to 15 guests. For larger groups, we offer customized packages to ensure everyone enjoys the experience.
Can we include drinks or snacks?
We do not coordinate food or drinks. However, you’re welcome to organize these elements separately to enhance your event.
